They’re witty, badass and possess that kind of animalistic magnetism too strong for you to ignore. They know a lot of things and in the anime kingdom, they’re those whom our main characters seek support from in times of peril and science-defying cataclysms that are about to befall our dear planet Earth.
They’re our awesome anime sensei who, aside from their apparent intellect and wit, also possess undeniably good looks they always carry with natural grace and w ell – badass punchlines and battle techniques.
But let’s face it. In as much as how we want to, these senseis will most likely not have their close-to-the-real-thing counterpart in real life.
But if they happen to be real, then class would be like:
Koro-sensei (Assassination Classroom)
Teaching style / policies: Grades don’t matter in his class. So is attendance. But if you want to pass, you’ll have to accomplish one very important project that basically highlights your entire school year requirements – to kill him. You’ll have all the weapons free at your disposal. Choose one!
What his class would be like: You’ll have an action-packed, real-life combat experience for your entire school year. There’s no need to worry about exams and class reports as well.
Under his class, you’ll master the areas of strategizing, creativity and physical dexterity as you work on devising unique and foolproof methods of bringing your dear tenta-teacher down. In short, there are no rules.
Kakashi-sense (Naruto Series)
Teaching style / policies: There’s a lot of opportunities for free styling in Kakashi-sensei’s class. However, you got to keep up with the schedules he set for class – most of which are conducted outside the school grounds. He likes teamwork so be ready for lots of group activities on field!
What his class would be like: There would be a lot of swooning for girls, and possibly a tremendous competition among men. Kakashi-sensei appears laid-back on most days but has a high degree of professionalism when it comes to actual teaching work.
He’s hands on when teaching so expect to learn practical stuff about life philosophies, combat and cool ninja moves!
Usami-sensei (Junjou Romantica)
Teaching style / policies: He teaches, you listen, you pass. As an award-winning novelist, Usami-sensei has his own weird schedules so he’ll most likely conduct his lessons on a flexible schedule as well.
He likes giving mock exams to test your comprehension and he’s a little hard when you don’t deliver good results. But he’s a patient tutor. As long as you tell him a damn good reason to pass, he can make your Cs to As in a matter of few weeks. Show him the will to win!
What his class would be like: I’m seeing the close to the typical classroom setup we have in real life. But boys who have the looks and a Misaki-caliber cuteness better not let their guard down in front of this mentor. Otherwise, you’ll end up getting molested along the lines of learning Math, Science and more. Sensei’s quite moody so behave and stay alert!
L-sensei (Death Note)
Teaching style / policies: Sit tight and gear up for long hours of intellectual, detective-like learning under our mysterious but popular genius investigator. He’s not one to move around and prefer sharing thoughts and theories while sitting down in front of his sweet-filled table.
He’ll probably require everyone in class to bring his own bag of sweets, so beware. L-sensei doesn’t care about physical attendance really. Just show up online, solve actual crimes with hard facts and report successful results.
What his class would be like: Lots and lots of research, thinking and sweet-eating. Under him, you get to enjoy the combined treat of round-the-clock snacking and investigation complete with global police files at your disposal.
Expect random foreign trips as well when following crime leads. You’re technically a student, but L-sensei sees you as an agent. Be sure not to mess up! Otherwise, he’ll cut you out without second thoughts.
Teaching style / policies: You’re lucky if you get him to hold a class. As a store owner who sells the most bizarre, if not dangerous, items in the market, he more or less makes his shop a priority.
He prefers one on one or small group discussions and is not particular in any school rules and stuff. His teaching is practical to your skill level and will most likely use some of his shop’s goods to make learning more fun for you. Get ready!
What his class would be like: It will range from having some lazy afternoons of pure talk and tea drinking to a full-on physical activities on his personally constructed classroom – shop underground.
You’ll be trained in armorless hand to hand combat and will be required to summon your own zanpakutou. He’ll train you himself and if lucky, you might even get the chance to spar with his mighty friend, Yoruichi-san. Brace yourself!
So friends, are you tough enough to graduate from these 5 anime sensei? Drop in your thoughts!
